Scentsy Story
When I was first introduced to Scentsy, I was an active duty sailor trying to find my way through my new career, far from home and far from my kids. It was a product I had never encountered before and thought it would make great Christmas presents! Turns out, I loved the products myself. I still have the first warmers I had ever bought!!
Fast forward 5 years. I had left the Navy and married another sailor, merging my two kids from my previous marriage and growing it with a new baby! Not long after, I started showing symptoms of Postpartum Depression... and I didn't know how to break out. I didn't want to be around people or do much of anything. My husband and I had come to a decision that I needed something, anything that will make me be me again. We debated me going back to work, but the cost of childcare for 3 children (And one being an infant) would far exceed any income I would be able to bring in. Then I saw my warmer in the kitchen one day and remembered how much I loved Scentsy... and Scentsy was a home-based business! I found my answer!! I did a little research about what it would take to start myself up and took the plunge! While I still fight my symptoms every day so I don't regress to where I was, Scentsy has helped things be brighter for me and my family, and I get the satisfaction of being able to financially contribute to my family!!
